Soorya Manasam is a 1992 critically acclaimed Malayalam movie by Viji Thampi starring Mammootty in the title role. The plot is inspired by the 1937 American novel Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Mammootty played the role of the slow-witted Putturumees, one of the most acclaimed characters in his career. Raghuvaran played the villain, the estate manager at Urumees’ workplace.
