Plot

Billa is a 2009 Telugu gangster-thriller film, film directed by Meher Ramesh, a remake of the 2007 Tamil Film of the same name. It also drew inspirations from the NTR-starring Telugu film, Yugandhar (1979) which drew inspirations from another Hindi film titled Don and one of Rajinikanth’s 1980 Tamil film with the same title. Prabhas Raju Uppalapati plays the lead role, where he plays dual roles of the characters Billa and Swami Ranga, with Anushka Shetty and Namitha playing the heroines.
